The Kemilau Hotel & Villa Canggu

The room size is very big and comfy. The breakfast they provided are amazing as well.There's no lifts over there but the staffs are very kind for helping us to send our luggage to our room.

The toilet has a very bad smells since the first day we checked in and after the staffs came for cleaning, it's still there and we don't know why.The resort carpark is too far away from the resort.

Their interior design in the room as well as the open areas including the stairs and the swimming pool.

The location is a bit away from the busiest area of Canggu, like 5-10 mins by grab bike. The reception was a bit slow with check in and out.

Location is amazing and all the staff were very helpful and friendly

I wished they had more options for the breakfast but still everything else covered for this part

Great location with friendly staffs. Little away from Main Street which makes less noisy.

Room was nice and clean, but a few little details were off, like the door lock being difficult to use, the shower head being old / slightly broken, etc.

You can't get connecting rooms (for us and the kids).

Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife during our short time in Canggu and we enjoyed our stay.Hospitality: Every staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful.Room: Clean, beautiful and spacious. I am very particular about cleanliness, and I was very satisfied with our room.Location: Tuck away in a small alleyway so it is more "peaceful". What I love the most about this hotel is its location which allow us to travel to most of Canggu famous attractions on foot. Price: Very cheap for such a nice hotel.Reading the other reviews some people complaint about noise and mosquitoes but we experience none of those. We sat on our balcony in pitch black throughout Nyepi night and we did not get any mosquito's bite.

Food not so nice, had no choice but to order from hotel during Nyepi.

Location’s really close to popular breakfast spots, pharmacy and supermarkets. Highly convenient. We came during the low-season so the place feels more private. Bedrooms were clean, staffs were helpful and tucked at the end of the alleyway, overall really pleasant green space in the middle of bustling Canggu.

The private pool with the hot pool was a bit too shallow for my liking. And I think that the glass walls of the bedroom makes me feel a bit more alert about security.

The location is fantastic, close to great cafes, restaurants, and just a short ride away from the beach, yet still tucked away enough to enjoy some quiet and privacy.Breakfast was delicious with a good selection, and the overall vibe of the hotel was so cozy and inviting. It’s clear that a lot of thought has been put into making this place feel like a little paradise.A huge thank you to the amazing staff for their kindness and hospitality - we truly felt taken care of. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bali!

I disliked the service at this property. I notified them I was arriving early in the morning and the communicated to me that checkin was subject to availability, which I understood.When I arrived they told me the room wasn’t ready and it would be at 2, I was happy to wait. So I explored the hotel and the room I got check into had a room next to it available the whole time I was waiting, they said that room was reserved for somebody arriving 2 days later and I asked why they couldn’t shuffle that around and then out that person in the room they were getting ready for me? They said it was based on how the bookings worked. Didn’t make sense, I asked for a refund because of bad service and they declined so I booked another hotel and left. The gentleman at reception was quite smug and smirked at me the entire interaction of wanting a refund. Terrible hotel and service.

Enjoyed my stay overall! love the room, spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Location is good too close to cafes and restaurants. We were pretty much at Atlas beach club and Finn’s beach club daily - we could walk to the beach clubs. However we have a 8 month old baby with us so we took the Gojek super near and affordable.

The shower got clogged one night and flooded the bathroom, but could be a one off. Also, the staff came right away to fix it which was good!

While this is understandable given the tropical environment, some additional pest control measures could further enhance the guest experience.

really loved this place and their whole team too.Location is in crowded place with good infrastructure but the hotel itself is hidden, with its calm atmosphere.Also, food is very delicious, both breakfasts and main dishes. Really recommend it.Looks like in their photos provided, btw.Special thanks to Kemilau Hotel & Team for the experience we lived there.We were here during rainy season; guys are fighting with humidity as they can.Best regards

I really like the design of the suite. The bed quality is very high, and I get very sound sleep everynight.

Loved the cosy design & vibe of Kemilau. The location was perfect too, a short walk from the main street (offering a quiet oasis from busy Canggu. Highlights from our stay included, the pool, breakfast with a view (the Mango banana smoothie bowl), our room (loved the ID, big comfy bed, aircond and smart TV) and the helpful staff.

The bathroom was big, clean and had ample hot water. However, there was a lingering musty smell perhaps from water damage.

Love the interior of the King bedroom. Everything is so chic. Comfy bed n pillows, huge bathtub! Really love everything about the room. The ambiance of the hotel is nice with paddy field. For the breakfast is delicious.

Motor parking space quite far and the Stairs that need to climb, but its bearable.
